The Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) is responsible for planning and managing the radio frequency spectrum in Botswana. It is responsible for compliance with licensing requirements and investigating complaints of interference to services.The scope of the BOCRA’s role includes:

• spectrum planning;
• frequency allocation;
• apparatus licensing; and
• frequency assignment and coordination.
