The Public is hereby notified that in line with its mandate of promoting access to affordable communication services, the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) has approved reduced tariffs for Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) data services with immediate effect. The Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) wishes to inform the public of an administrative error relating to the tender closing time, which resulted in bidders submitting their proposals at different times.

In the interest of fairness and transparency, BOCRA will allow bidders who submitted their proposals between 1200 and 1700hrs on Friday 23 January 2026, to have their bids opened publicly

The public is invited to the opening of the bids on Tuesday 27 January 2026 at 1000hrs at the BOCRA Head Office at the address below
